Receiving the official license in June 2024. This Lodge marks a significant milestone for Freemasonry in the Sydney Basin, as it is dedicated to providing valuable guidance and education to brethren, furthering the principles and practices of Freemasonry in the region.
The City of Sydney Lodge of Instruction was established to fill a vital need within the Sydney Masonic community. Meeting on the fifth Thursday of every month at 7:15 PM in the Egyptian Room in Petersham, these sessions offer a unique opportunity for Masons to deepen their knowledge. The location itself, rich with symbolic significance, sets the tone for an immersive learning experience. Here, tradition meets modernity, with interactive and educational sessions meticulously designed to benefit all members. This initiative not only serves the local Masonic community but also caters to the diverse and widespread Masonic brethren in the Sydney Basin.
Despite minimal advertisement thus far, the initiative has already garnered tremendous support and participation from dedicated brethren. The enthusiasm and commitment of our members underscore the vital role that the City of Sydney Lodge of Instruction plays in the Sydney Masonic community.
