Fourth-Generation Mason Installed as Master of Lodge Weston-Kurri Kurri

25 June 26

At the Annual Installation meeting on 20 June 2026, at Lodge Weston-Kurri Kurri Bro Craig Isted was installed into the Chair of King Solomon.

The ceremony was conducted in the presence of RW Bro Geoff Williams PAGM, the Representative of the Most Worshipful Grand Master, Chairman of the Freemason Magazine.

A fourth-generation Mason, W Bro Isted’s journey to the Chair since his initiation reflects his dedication to learning Masonic ritual, as well as his commitment and passion for the Craft. Since his initiation at Lodge Cessnock just three and a half years ago, he has actively sought to broaden his knowledge, joining Lodge Weston-Kurri Kurri and immersing himself in lodge life, readily accepting opportunities to serve wherever needed and continually developing his ritual knowledge and leadership within the Craft. He also continues to serve the Craft as Secretary of Lodge Cessnock.

A special highlight of the evening was sharing the occasion with his father, who acted as his sponsor, making it a proud family moment.

The ceremony, led by VW Bro Des Callaghan with support from GDC W Bro Vivek Papineni GP, was delivered with precision and excellence and was supported by a strong turnout of Brethren from across the district and beyond.

It was a fantastic night of fellowship and celebration. Congratulations, W Bro Isted, and best wishes for a successful year ahead.
