Grand Ceremonial Team Dinner 2025

08 December 25

Honouring the Past Grand Wardens of NSW & ACT

On 29 November 2025, the Grand Ceremonial Team Dinner and Grand Wardens Recognition Night was held in the Ambassadors' Room at West HQ. Distinguished leaders and brethren gathered in unity and gratitude, with the presence of the Grand Master, MW Bro B. Khristian S. Albano, The Deputy Grand Master, RW Bro Paul Konrad Schultz and the Assistant Grand Master, RW Bro Samuel Bruce Young, and Past Grand Masters MW Bro Derek James Robson AM CMH and MW Bro Lesley Norman Hicks, setting a dignified tone for the evening.

The night brought together all Past Grand Wardens from 2017–2025 alongside the current Ceremonial Team, a powerful symbol of continuity and fellowship. Hosted with warmth by VW Bro Alex Hezari PDGDC, and blessed with Grace by RW Bro Arnold Landicho PAGM, Grand Chaplain, the program flowed with harmony and reverence.

The formal proceedings commenced with opening remarks from MW Bro Lesley Norman Hicks, the 40th Grand Master, who acknowledged the legacy of those who shaped ceremonial excellence in our jurisdiction. The toast to the Most Worshipful Grand Master was then proposed by RW Bro Joseph Douglas Corrigan, PSGW, Chairman of the Board of Management. His words paid tribute to the Grand Master’s leadership and dedication in guiding the Craft. The Grand Master responded warmly, expressing his appreciation for the Past Grand Wardens whose precision and loyalty have upheld the highest ideals of ceremonial work. This was followed by the presentation segment, where each Past Grand Warden was honoured with a personalised gift and certificates of Recognition.

Highlights included the recognition of Past Grand Wardens and a captivating musical performance by VW Bro Jerome Madulid PDGDC GSTW. Guests enjoyed a refined dining experience, complementing the spirit of celebration.

Closing reflections by MW Bro Derek James Robson AM CMH emphasised fellowship, gratitude, and the preservation of ceremonial heritage.

Special thanks are extended to The Grand Director of Ceremonies RW Bro Jay Tayag, The Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies VW Bro Jano Toussounian AGDC, VW Bro Kaan Ozer PAGDC, and VW Bro Dr Raul Amor, Chairman of Masonicare. Their combined dedication and careful planning ensured the evening ran with precision and harmony. In particular, VW Bro Dr Raul Amor’s generous financial support and strong team leadership greatly strengthened the success of the Grand Ceremonial Team Dinner. Together, their commitment to excellence played a vital role in making this occasion truly memorable.

A further note of gratitude goes to Lodges Blacktown Kildare 393 and Sir Walter Scott 123, whose loyal support made the evening an even greater success. Their strong attendance, with many brethren present, and their generous financial contributions ensured the event was not only memorable but also sustainable. Their commitment exemplifies the spirit of unity and ongoing support that strengthens our Craft and enriches every Masonic gathering.

The evening stood as a testament to dedicated service, honouring those who shaped our ceremonial excellence and celebrating the unity that defines Freemasonry in our Jurisdiction.
