North Shore Freemasons Share Wisdom Through Mentorship
08 September 23
Recently in the heart of Freemasonry, on Sydney's North shore, a spark of enthusiasm has ignited as a session, skilfully designed for Entered Apprentice Freemasons (EAFs) was delivered. With an air of anticipation in the air, a gathering of eager minds converged at the Artarmon Masonic Centre, ready to dive into the realms of wisdom and understanding.
The room full of energy and anticipation as our guest presenter, RW Bro Darren Allatt, Chairman of Membership and Education BOM UGL NSW & ACT, took the floor. With a wealth knowledge, he led the eager attendees on an insightful journey. The focus of the day? The first-degree examination – a cornerstone of Masonic teachings.
RW Bro Allatt masterfully gave insight into the principles and lessons that lie within the First Degree, unveiling their relevance not only within the walls of our Masonic lodges but also in the intricate fabric of our daily lives. From the nurturing embrace of our homes to the bustling corridors of our workplaces, from the warmth of social interactions to the depth of masonic activities – the lessons learned were poised to enrich every facet of existence.
The event bore the indelible mark of organisation, skilfully arranged by the dynamic duo of Bro Peter Jones and Bro Cameron Holmes. Their dedication to ensuring a seamless experience was palpable, setting the stage for the journey that lay ahead.
As the curtain fell on the first session, a sense of anticipation remained in the air, as a number of further presentations are in the planning , this mentoring group would endeavour to dissect each question of the examination, peeling back the layers to uncover the profound truths nestled within.
These sessions are a sanctuary for EAFs, an opportunity to further their understanding, to deepen their grasp of invaluable teachings.
We thank all attendees, whose presence brightened the first step of this enlightening journey in our pursuit of knowledge and understanding.
