On Saturday, the 7 October 2023, the Bayside Masonic Centre was abuzz as Plaridel Lodge No. 1893 held its Open Installation ceremony. The day was marked by an atmosphere of celebration, unity, and cultural richness.

The Lodge welcomed guests for the open Installation of W Bro Christian Manalo as the new Worshipful Master of the Lodge. His dedication and commitment were evident, and he was supported throughout by his wife, Sarah, adding a touch of warmth and support to the day's proceedings.

Adding to the excitement, the Lodge was graced by our Grand Master, MW Bro Anthony Bucca and the Grand Lodge Ceremonial Team and also by a large visiting delegation of Brethren and friends from the United Grand Lodge of NSW and ACT. Among them was Deputy Grand Master, RW Bro Khris Albano, whose presence elevated the sense of brotherhood and unity among all attendees between our two States.

The Festive Board which followed took on a vibrant turn, embracing the rich culture and spirit of the Filipino community.

Guests were treated to a delightful display of Filipino dancers and a variety of traditional fruit carving displays, each with a masonic theme.
